Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge come in swanky new colors

Since their arrival, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge have been selling only in white, black and gold color options, but that has changed now. The South Korean company has just announced the arrival of two new shades in which you to purchase the handsets.

To be precise each one of the two smartphones gets a new colored version. While the Samsung Galaxy S6 receives a blue topaz option, its curved display –equipped S6 Edge variant becomes the beneficiary of an emerald green model.

Both the devices will be made available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities. Samsung has however not mentioned any country-specific details of the arrival of these two new color options, but it has indeed revealed that launch dates and models may vary by region and channels.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Range

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were revealed by the company in March this year as the first devices from its flagship range to feature metal frames. They disappointed fans by ditching microSD card slots and removable batteries, but their superb overall offerings managed to overshadow these two factors.

Here’s a neat look at the key specs of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge:

– Display: 5.1-inch Super AMOLED, 1440 x 2560 pixels
– OS: Android 5.0 Lollipop
– Processor: Octa core Exynos 7
– Memory: 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB storage options (not expandable)
– Camera: 16MP rear, 5MP front
– Battery: 2550mAh (S6), 2600mAh (S6 Edge)

Both the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge feature mostly the same specs, but there are a few differences between them. The Edge variant of course grabs a curved panel and some added software features to take advantage of it. Moreover, it also kicks in a larger battery than the one on the S6.
