Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo available now in India for Rs 26,200

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo smartphone that showed up on the official website only recently, has been made available for a mid-range price of Rs 26,200. Certain online retailers have started selling it as well for a slightly discounted price of under Rs 25,450. It looks very similar to the Galaxy S3 and brings improved features and specifications to the table.

The dual SIM Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo smartphone comes wrapped inside a chassis with dimensions of 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 millimeters. It weighs in at 133 grams and manages to accommodate a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen of 1280 x 720p resolution on the front panel. A 1.9MP webcam has been placed alongside the screen to facilitate web conferencing on the move.

On the flip side, you will find an 8MP camera complete with LED flash, auto focus, digital zoom and the ability to record good quality videos amongst other things. The Samsung phone does not make the most of the Android KitKat OS, but you can expect it to bring Jelly Bean 4.3. Hopefully, a software upgrade is in the pipeline for the smartphone.

In addition to this, the phone is powered by a quad core processor ticking at 1.2GHz that tags along 1.5GB of RAM. Its total internal memory is 16GB, but you do get the option of increasing it further by up to 64GB using a microSD card. A 2100mAh battery powers the device for a long battery life.
