Samsung’s Galaxy S10 is generating a lot of interest from fans who are expecting the next big thing from the South Korean brand. The usually-reliable leakster Evan Blass has now chimed in with his own take on the smartphone, giving us a bit more insight into what to expect.

As per Blass’ tweet, the Galaxy S10 is going to have a “punch hole” style selfie camera cutout. This sounds a lot like Samsung’s recently announced Infinity-O display which has a single hole carved into the screen. Unusually, the hole is to the left, making for an asymmetric look.

How Samsung Will Deal With A Selfie Hole

Tipster Benjamin Geskin has made a concept image based on this design (see above). It remains to be seen how Samsung will deal with content. A giant hole will ruin the aesthetics of any photo, video, or app. Previous reports have suggested that the brand will hide the cutout when there’s something on the screen and only make it appear when a selfie is being clicked.

This could be an acceptable compromise, as long as Samsung can pull it off. Blass also claims that the flagship device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner based on ultrasonic technology. There might even be three rear cameras at the back, composed of a standard, wide, and telephoto lens.

Finally, it seems the Galaxy S10 will feature One UI over Android Pie. This isn’t a huge surprise since the firm has already shown off One UI on stage with the promise of bringing it to the Galaxy S9. One aspect which the tweet didn’t mention is the rumor that there are going to be 3 versions of the smartphone.

Speculation so far has hinted at a basic Galaxy S10, a standard Galaxy S10, and a bigger Galaxy S10+. Geskin thinks the entry-level model will be priced somewhere between $650 (approx Rs 46907) and $750 (roughly Rs 54123), have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and sport a dual-camera setup.
