Samsung Array

Apart from the S2 4G, Boost Mobile is also going to throw out bait in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Rush as well as the Array for fans of the South Korean company. One’s a neat little touchscreen device, while the other features a slide-out QWERTY keypad for hitting out those texts and mails.

The Rush is powered by Android 4.0 and flaunts a 3.5-inch touch display. It has two cameras – a 3MP main one on the back and a 1.3MP front sensor for video chats and what not. After dropping $149.99 for the device, users can opt to sign up for the contract-free $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plan with Shrinking Payments.

For those who don’t know, each time a customer takes care of the monthly bill on time, the cost of the plan goes down by $5 and eventually shrinks to $40 per month after six such timely payments. The Array steps in next as a less expensive Samsung alternative paired with a QWERTY keyboard.

The handset is a very basic one with a 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen. Boost says it’s got a slim form factor without really offering anything concrete on the exact dimensions. For photography needs, the phone sports a 2MP camera and web browsing capabilities are also packed into it. Interested parties will be able to pick it up with the $45 Talk & Text Unlimited Plan with Shrinking Payments.

The Samsung Galaxy Rush Boost Mobile will hit the company’s online store, retail outlets and select dealers sometime in late September. On the other hand, the Samsung Array is all set to make its debut a couple of days before the S2 4G, that’s on September 4.
