The Galaxy On6 has finally arrived in India after week after week of teasers by Samsung. As it turns out, the handset is almost identical to the Galaxy J6.
Both the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy On6 come with 5.6-inch 18.5:9 Super AMOLED Infinity Displays with an HD+ resolution. They even have the Exynos 7870 processor and Face Unlock in common. The pair looks identical too, right down to the camera and rear fingerprint scanner placement.

The only major difference seems to be that the Galaxy J6 is available in a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM variant and the Galaxy On6 is only being sold in a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM model. The newer phone is set to be sold via Flipkart and Samsung’s online store on July 5 at midnight.
Samsung’s slapped a Rs 14490 price tag on the device, with an eye on attracting the youth. It’ll have to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Oppo Realme1 for their attention. The handset has got a few unique aspects going for it.

For one thing, the brand’s Chat Over Video feature is present, as it was on the Galaxy J6. The tool lets users text their friends without interrupting their video watching. The chat screen and text box are kept translucent so the video can be viewed without any barriers.
