Residents across Canada who were starting to envy their U.S. counterparts over the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note need not feel so anymore, courtesy Best Buy Mobile. The retailer chain which is bringing this handset to the country via network operators like Rogers, Bell and Telus, has already made it available for pre-order. Furthermore, it is expected to start shipping this Valentine’s Day.

The Galaxy Note is a 9.65mm slim device with an HD Super AMOLED touchscreen which measures 5.3 inches diagonally and displays visuals in a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800p. The considerably thin form factor paired with the huge screen is one of the essentials which set this device apart from other standard sized smartphones. While it readily supports finger gestures, the handset also ships with a stylus which comes in handy for taking notes and sketching.

The rear panel is dotted with an 8MP camera, the functions of which are enhanced by an LED flash and auto focus feature. This is supported by a 2MP front facing secondary camera which facilitates video calling and chatting.

The Samsung Galaxy Note price in Canada through various operators has been revealed by Best Buy Mobile. While Telus is offering the device for $249.99, consumers who wish to own it through Rogers will have to pay close to $300. In comparison with this, Bell seems to be offering a bargain at $199.99.

All the aforementioned deals will require subscribers to sign a three-year user agreement. The handset can be pre-ordered through Best Buy Mobile stores across the country, or can be purchased starting February 14.
