Nearly everything about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 got leaked last week in an in-depth profile by famed leakster Evan Blass. However, there were no images of the handset to accompany the article. Here to fill in those gaps are 3 separate reports armed with photos and a video.
Starting off with the Galaxy Note 8 renders up top, they were apparently posted to Weibo by an industry insider based in China. The 3 feature the same bezel-free curved Infinity Display as the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. This is in line with numerous other rumors, though the snaps appear to have a more rounded look than expected.
Going against these rumors is a new video by 91mobiles developed in collaboration with OnLeaks. The publication’s take on the Galaxy Note 8 involves a pretty sizable bezel on top. There’s no source mentioned for these renders, so take what you see with a pinch of salt.
Lastly, BGR has gotten its hands on a 3D CAD drawing of the Samsung device. It’s apparently based on schematics which came directly from the factory manufacturing the smartphone. The sketch depicts the back of the phone, offering a clear look at the dual cameras and fingerprint sensor.
Samsung had reportedly been trying to integrate the latter under the display, but had to give up and move it to the rear instead. It did the same for the Galaxy S8, but garnered a lot of criticism in the process. Many complained of accidentally smudging the camera lens while trying to reach for the scanner.
