Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite could gain LTE support, March 2014 launch predicted

Rumors are all we have about the purported Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite, and it’s time for some more. Apparently, this downgraded version of the Note 3 handset will have an LTE version of itself, guaranteeing a full-scale US release if not anything else. This smartphone is said to have grabbed a green colored body, and is expected to be launched in March this year.

A tweet by SamMobile has given away this crucial piece of information. According to the tweet, the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite will grab the model name, SM-N7505. This likely means that the non-LTE version will be called SM-N7500. The tweet has also mentioned that the device could be released in the twelfth week of 2014 which brings us to the March time frame.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite

Precisely, March 17 to March 24 is where the specified week lies. However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite was speculated to make its debut much earlier than that, at the MWC which is to take place from February 24 to 27. In that case, it could be that the unveiling of the phone has been slated for MWC, whereas its release date has been placed in March.

Whatever little we know about the supposed Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite indicates that it could grab a smaller display having a size of 5.5, 5.7 or 5.49 inches. Other specs will be watered down as well in comparison with the Note 3, but nothing concrete has come to the fore as yet. We’ll have more on the device when additional details about it are out.
