Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date in the US confirmed

Note 2

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 release date in the US has been confirmed to fall in October by U.S. Cellular. The exact day is rumored to be October 24th. On the other hand, T-Mobile and Sprint have announced that they will indeed be offering the smartphone soon. And AT&T and Verizon are yet to make an official announcement about the same. But we’re assuming hopes are high on this front since it’s hardly likely that the carriers will pass up on a chance to sell a device whose predecessor has enjoyed so much success.

“The Samsung Galaxy Note II on the fast 4G LTE network provides our customers with a unique experience that can make work and play easier wherever you are. We are once again excited to work with Samsung to bring this caliber of device to our customers to help them stay connected to the people and information important to them,” ventured Edward Perez, vice president of sales and marketing operations for U.S. Cellular, while talking about the impending release.

Galaxy Note 2 U.S. Cellular

According to the news on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be out by late October via U.S. Cellular. In fact, the network operator has already put it up for pre-order through uscellular.com/note2 along with an instant rebate. Sprint is all geared up to let it loose this fall in color options of titanium gray and marble white. But tough luck finding a Sprint pre-booking page for the phone-tablet hybrid or anything on the exact day of launch.

The titanium gray, 16GB Galaxy Note 2 US price is pinned down at $299.99 through U.S. Cellular. Sprint hasn’t given out anything on the pricing apart from the fact that customers will be required to sign up for an Everything Data plan starting at $79.99 a month.
