Surprise, surprise – the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 India price and availability information has sprung out for fans waiting to get their paws on the tablet. At a launch event held in Delhi today, the South Korean company introduced it as the Galaxy Note 800.
One of the main features of the device is its S-Pen which lets users interact with the touch display and take advantage of apps designed just for the stylus. One of these is Adobe Photoshop Touch which allows for tweaking brush size and opacity by simply changing the pressure of the pen on the display.
“India is one of the first 10 markets in the world where the Galaxy Note 800 is being launched. With the Samsung Galaxy Note 800, Samsung provides a unique user experience that goes beyond passive content consumption to a new world of productivity, active creation and personalized communications,” trilled Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Samsung Mobile & IT.
“While the S pen offers both active content creation and passive content creation, the Multi screen capability finally enables true multitasking. I expect this device to in many ways to fuel the growth of the tablet market in India and help us further strengthen our market leadership in the tablet market here in India,” continued Yadav.
Taking yet another look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 specs, the Android 4.0 tablet has a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800p touchscreen, hence the name. It works on a 1.4GHz quad core Exynos processor supported by Mali graphics and 2GB RAM. There’s a 5MP main camera on the back panel as well as a 1.9MP one on the front bezel for video calls.
