Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom have gone live in the UK, and if you live in the said region, you can get one for yourself in exchange of £400. The release date for this phone-camera hybrid has been marked for May 29.
If you’re not comfortable coughing up that amount, Samsung UK is also letting you use this promo code (NPR-14G-QKY-WSZ) for grabbing a 10 percent discount on the device. As SamMobile has said, since this price is from the company itself, the phone could go cheaper when other retailers start selling it.
The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom succeeds last year’s S4 Zoom, by offering a phone affixed to a compact camera, complete with a 10x optical zoom lens. A 20.7MP sensor forms another highlight of this device which displays its visuals on a 4.8-inch 720p HD panel.
Equipped with the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, it runs on a hexa core processor setup which consists of a 1.3GHz quad core chip and a 1.7GHz dual core one. 2GB worth of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage also make their way into this smartphone, aside from a 2430mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is set to enter markets other than Europe and the UK, but details related to its entry in remaining regions remain slim at the moment.
