Leaks have so far given away almost all details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), but we now have final press images of the phone to show you. These pictures appear to be of a model that’s destined to be sold in China – notice the China Mobile branding – but we’re sure the device will indeed be released in other parts of the globe.
There’s no doubt that this upgraded model of last year’s Samsung Galaxy J7 will be launched alongside a J5 (2016) variant, the details of which have also been leaked in the past. If the new renders are compared against those of the predecessors, the differences are pretty negligible.
Apart from the above mentioned pictures which have come via WinFuture, another image of the device has also been released by @Evleaks. Previous leaks have told us that either a Snapdragon 615 or an Exynos 7870 chipset will be making its way into this Samsung handset.
Here’s a quick glance at the leaked specs of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016):
– Display: 5.5-inch Super AMOLED, 1080p full HD
– Processor: Octa core (Snapdragon 615 or Exynos 7870)
– Memory: 3GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable)
– Cameras: 13MP rear, 5MP front
A 5.5-inch 1080p full AMOLED display will form part of its offerings, aside from 3GB worth of RAM. Just 16GB of base storage will be available, but the Galaxy J7 will indeed ship with a microSD card slot for further expansions.
Another highlight will be a 5MP front camera which will be accompanied by an LED flash for bright selfies. As for the rear unit, we again expect to see a 13MP main camera being placed on its back.

We’re not sure when the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) will be made official by the South Korean giant, but given the amount of leaks that are taking place every week, it’s most likely to do that soon.
