If you’ve been keeping an eye on rumors and leaks regarding the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, you have probably heard that it does not feature a microSD card slot for storage expansions. And if you’re one of those for whom 32GB of space isn’t enough to satisfy your hoarding needs, this news should definitely please you.

The device has been revealed to also feature a 64GB model by SamMobile. Although, we’re guessing this version will be targeted only towards specific markets. However, there’s no word regarding why Samsung has chosen not to grant the Galaxy Alpha a microSD card slot.

This handset hasn’t been officially unveiled yet, but leaks have given away way too much information about it than one would ask for. Recently, Samsung itself made a gaffe at a yachting event in Russia, where it splattered promotional materials bearing the handset’s name all over the pier.

For those wondering about its components, they have been set up so that the Galaxy Alpha competes directly with the upcoming iPhone 6. This means a 4.7-inch display, a fingerprint scanner and a metal frame on its body, all form part of its offerings.
