The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos smartphone made its debut in India over 2 months ago and it’s now scheduled to ship worldwide starting this June with Russia first on its destination list. This handset retains the design and features delivered by its predecessor and is aimed at bringing in an enhanced experience through the dual SIM support system.
Resting on the front is a 3.5-inch TFT LCD touchscreen proffering HVGA resolutions of 320 x 480 pixels. Powering the handset is the Android Gingerbread OS that’s coated with the Samsung Touchwiz UX. This dual SIM smartphone packs in an 832MHz processor and 512MB of RAM. Where hoarding needs are concerned, the device incorporates 3GB of user-available memory, while the microSD card slot allows up to an additional 32GB of storage.

For connectivity, the handset is embedded with HSDPA at 7.2Mbps and EDGE/GPRS network support as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 3.0. Users will be able to stay connected with friends through the Samsung Social Hub and the ChatON mobile communication service. Other features include A-GPS support, music player with the SoundAlive attribute, accelerometer, digital compass and much more. Built around dimensions of 112.74mm x 61.5mm x 11.5mm, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos houses a 1,300mAh battery that’s capable of delivering around 1,000 minutes of talktime or 520 hours of standby on a 2G network.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos release date in Russia is scheduled for this June, followed by a global roll-out in Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, Africa as well as China. Price details aren’t disclosed as yet.
