Samsung Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 upgraded with metal and glass bodies

The new 2016 editions of the Samsung Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 smartphones have just been launched by the South Korean giant, with their first release country having been revealed to be China. The nation will get the devices mid-December, while they will begin their journey into other markets later on. As you can see from the images, their glass and metal design is in line with the firm’s flagship phones.

First let us start with the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) which is the most high-end device among the lot. It grabs a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display bearing 1080p full HD resolution. It now features a 3300mAh battery, and runs on the combination of an octa core processor and 3GB of RAM.

The storage is still tied to 16GB but there’s of course a microSD card slot onboard. But the most important additions to the device are a fingerprint sensor, OIS support for its 13MP camera and the incorporation of Magnetic Secure Transmission for Samsung Pay. It’s of course a dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE support.

Samsung Galaxy A7

Coming to the Galaxy A5 (2016), it now offers a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p full HD resolution, and runs on an octa core CPU which is assisted by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The battery here bears 2900mAh capacity, while the camera has a 13MP sensor and OIS support. Even this phone features a fingerprint sensor with Samsung Pay support.

Samsung Galaxy A5

As for the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) it’s the most low-end affair among all the devices. It kicks in a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with 720p resolution. Its 13MP main camera does not grab OIS support however, while there’s no fingerprint sensor onboard as well. It runs on a quad core processor and 1.5GB of RAM, and is powered by a 2300mAh battery.
