Samsung got rid of the air of mystery around its foldable phone a few weeks ago by showing it off on-stage in front of the whole world. However, this wasn’t really a formal launch since the device was a prototype and not the final product. Moreover, the company didn’t even reveal its name or any of the specs powering it.

A recent Wall Street Journal report (via BGR) has some interesting new information about the bendable handset. It seems the brand is thinking of calling it either the Samsung Flex or Samsung Galaxy Flex. A person familiar with the matter says the decision is far from final, so there’s a chance it’ll be called something else entirely once the phone arrives.

When Will Samsung’s Foldable Phone Launch?

This is another mystery. Word on the street is that the so-called Galaxy Flex will make its debut in March 2019, but this isn’t 100% certain. The firm did confirm that the smartphone will be available worldwide, so it won’t be restricted to a few markets.

SamMobile claims that the Galaxy Flex has the model number SM-F900U. It apparently has a roomy 512GB of storage and will be sold in silver and black color options. It looks like the company isn’t going to be very experimental with colors for its first foldable device.

That’s supposedly not the case with its Galaxy S10 lineup. The same report says the series will be available in yellow, black, white and green. It seems some of them will be gradient colors, as is the fashion in Chinese phones nowadays.

In terms of internal specs, the Galaxy S10 is probably going to stick to 64GB of space for its entry-level variant. The premium models might have more storage in-built. The basic version is also going to miss having an in-display fingerprint scanner around, unlike the other two.
