Reliance’s new Lyf F1 is a budget 4G phone with a 16MP camera

Lyf F1

Reliance has launched the Lyf F1 in India, the latest addition to its diverse range of affordable 4G handsets. The smartphone is now available via its offline stores across the country priced at Rs 13399.

The Lyf F1 is being bundled with a number of freebies to tempt buyers including a Bluetooth speaker valued at Rs 3000, 10% cashback offer for Citibank customers, and Reliance Retail gift voucher worth Rs 15000. The company has also equipped the phone with carrier aggregation support which it claims leads to faster data speeds and lower batter consumption.

The new Lyf F1’s claim to fame is a collection of smart features meant to make life easier for users. For instance, Rich Communication Services allows them to share things like media or their location while on a call. Smart Play pauses videos when a person looks away from the screen. It can even run 2 videos simultaneously.

There’s also a Smart Ring tool which analyses ambient conditions and automatically adjusts the volume level according to the environment an individual is in. Moreover, getting 3 missed calls from the same number within 3 minutes automatically triggers the Lyf F1 to make itself extra loud.
