Reliance has joined hands with CanvasM, a joint venture between tech Mahindra and Motorola to introduce multiplayer mobile games in India. The service has been dubbed as Multiplayer Mobile Gaming (MMG).
Soon Reliance customers will be able to compete with other mobile- and PC-gamers who happen to be playing the same game. They will also be able to invite others to play the game that they are playing.
Users will also be able to indulge in other activities besides gaming including messenger chat, lobby chat, game chat, score posting and profile.
As part of this partnership, CanvasM will be providing Reliance Communications with a number of international and domestic multiplayer games.
Multiplayer Mobile Gaming (MMG) will not only satisfy mobile users and gamers, but will also allow advertisers to create specific buddy lists, chat with gamers, display and see other’s moods and send tailored promotional messages accordingly.
As it is CanvasM’s multiplayer gaming platform offers a catalog of around 15 cross-media games. Besides, it also offers provisions for developing content as well as fostering.

In order to download the Multiplayer Mobile Games, customers will need to access Reliance Mobile World>Games>Multiplayer Games. Customers will be charged Rs.99 on a monthly basis for downloading a pack of three games, with unlimited plays for a month.
