Flipkart has started accepting registrations for the 64GB Xiaomi Mi 4 smartphone on its website and it notes that the window to sign up for the flash sale is open up till February 23 at midnight. This model in particular will be made available for the first time on the 24th at 5pm and it’s tagged at Rs 23999.
That makes it Rs 4000 costlier compared to the Xiaomi Mi 4 base model which is selling for Rs 19999 with 16GB of onboard memory. The company has already had 2 sales for the base model and in the previous one, it put up an inventory of 35000 units. For the next sale, however, there’s no word as yet on how much stock will be made available.
We could see the same 35000 units of the 16GB Mi 4 turn up along with limited stock of 64GB models. Or maybe even a combined 35000 units of both. Xiaomi will surely confirm this information in the coming days, so stay tuned.
The Mi 4 currently holds flagship status and comes with top-tier hardware as well as the latest MIUI 6 interface which has now started seeding to the Redmi Note 4G. The device flaunts a metal frame with a 5-inch 1080p display and 8MP camera on the front, while the rear has a 13MP shooter.
