The Xiaomi Mi 3 is one of the hardest smartphones to get hold of in India, but you could try your luck at the third sale that’s scheduled to take place tomorrow. Unlike the previously where 10000 units were offered at each sale, a total of 15000 units will be made available tomorrow.
Registrations are still open for the Xiaomi Mi 3, but will end tonight as the third round goes live tomorrow evening at 6pm. If you’ve registered for the previous sale, we’re sorry to say that you’ll have to go through the hassle once again if you wish to purchase the handset tomorrow.

And we expect to see huge demand for the device tomorrow as well, so you better have yourself prepared to quickly book the smartphone as it goes up for grabs. So far, Flipkart has managed to sell a total of 20000 units, 10000 at each sale. The first stock got sold out in around 40 minutes, while the second round lasted for an unbelievable (and possibly over exaggerated) 5 seconds.
While the Mi 3 is the only device currently available from the Chinese OEM, the Redmi 1S and Redmi Note handsets are expected to go on sale sometime this month and the company will also launch its accessory lineup which comprises of power banks, covers and a pair of headphones.
Here are the key specs of the Xiaomi Mi 3:
– OS: MIUI V5 (Android 4.4 KitKat)
– Chipset: 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 800
– GPU: Adreno 330
– RAM: 2GB
– Storage: 16GB
– Display: 5-inch 1080p panel
– Camera: 13MP rear, 2MP front
– Battery: 3050mAh
While it’s obvious that you’ll have to be quick to order the Xiaomi Mi 3 during tomorrow’s sale, you could hold back for a couple of weeks and wait for the device to become widely available.
