BlackBerry has announced that the red and white color variants of its Passport smartphone have been made available for pre-order in the US and Canada. Additionally, the company has also revealed that it’s offering the flagship smartphone with various promos and at a discounted price.
In the US, the red BlackBerry Passport can currently be pre-ordered through Amazon and the company’s online store at $699, while the white model will set you back by $599. If you’re willing to go for the black version, you can pick it up for as low as $499.
Canadian customers will have to shell out a bit more cash as the red and white options have been tagged at $799 and $699, respectively. BlackBerry notes that limited quantities of the new colors are being offered for now with wider availability planned for next month around Christmas.
The great deals on the Passport don’t end here as there’s a new iPhone trade-in program as well. You can get a minimum of $90 or up to $400 when you exchange your Apple handset for the mammoth-size BlackBerry smartphone. The amount you get varies based on the model being exchanged and the company is offering an additional $150 as a bonus. The promo goes live from December 1 and more details can be found over at this link.
