Data Architect

This is probably the most lucrative of all the tech careers. A data architect designs and builds systems to collect, process and store data. In order to enter the field, you will need a background in computer science, a flair for logic, a natural ability to see the big picture, and great communication skills. This is a demanding role but worth it if you’re looking for a career that presents plenty of challenges and a very good paycheck.  

Software Architect

This software expert designs the high level structure of a software system. Your main responsibilities will include setting standards for application development, creating components, dividing complex designs into smaller, manageable pieces, understanding the relationships between these components and communicating this information to developers.

Data Scientist

The responsibility of a data scientist is to collect, handle and manage statistical analysis of data for organizations or businesses. In this role, you will identify problems and work out practical solutions. You must have knowledge of a number of scientific fields including: statistics, pattern recognition, computer programming, and data mining.

Web Designer

A web designer has the technical and creative skills to create or re-design amazing websites.  A web designer can easily recognize exactly what is needed to make a website functional and user-friendly and at the same time make it visually appealing. Software Engineer

Software engineers use their skills in mathematical analysis, engineering and computer science to design, develop and test computer software. Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality assurance (QA) engineers investigate and analyze websites and programs to ensure that they are functioning exactly as they should be. They also fix any bugs or glitches that would otherwise affect users. In QA you will test a wide range of software and apps and document the results.

Development operations (DevOps) is the procedure of assisting development, operations and quality assurance to work together. WordPress is currently one of the most popular content management systems (CMS) in existence. To date, it supports more than 60 million websites. You will be creating highly functional websites using WordPress extensions, plug-ins, themes, and add-ons.

Java Developer

A Java developer creates dynamic websites and applications. You may work at designing interfaces or work on behind-the-scenes development. Duties include writing class files, and working on all stages of development, engineering, designing prototypes and structuring products. As a java developer, you may be fluent in one or more different Java systems – standard, enterprise and mobile. Java developers work in a variety of fields from retail to medical.
