Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame is the latest offering from Ubisoft, and has been made available for download for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Developed by the big publisher’s Pune-based studio, this game is a revamped version of Prince of Persia 2 which was originally released two decades ago. Equipped with a long list of fresh additions, it can be downloaded now by Android users through the Google Play store or the Amazon Appstore and by iOS device owners via the iTunes App Store at a price of $2.99.
Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame resumes the story which its predecessor – the first ever PoP game – left behind. It lets you explore a total of 5 different sets of environments that have been modeled along the lines of those portrayed in the original. Moreover, Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame offers 14 levels rendered in 3D, for you to jump into on your quest to find the princess. Moreover, a brand new combat system is also claimed to have been infused into the game by its makers.
The multiple enemies in Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame will present tactical challenges, and will even allow you to unleash combo attacks. As the game progresses, more such attacks will be unlocked. Two modes of control have been granted to the game, with one being the usual gesture-based touch system and the other a classic virtual joystick.
