Pioneer N-50 Audio Players

The beginning of the new year has already witnessed gadgets pouring into techville for audiophiles and now the Pioneer Elite N-30 and N-50 networked audio players roll out to join the ranks. These high-end systems boast of features such as AirPlay and DLNA 1.5 wireless technologies, allowing music lovers to stream content from their iTunes library as well as their PC.

Furthermore, these Pioneer N-30 and N-50 networked audio players include Android control apps and AirPlay-enabled apps such as Pandora Internet radio, iHeartRadio and other available options. A few extra bucks will be required to get the optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle for potential users who want these additional attributes on their audio players. Each system is integrated with a 2.5-inch full-color LCD display which portrays the current track playing and album art. Audiophiles may give a thumbs up to the incorporated vTuner Internet radio which provides access to over 16,000 Internet radio stations.

“Utilizing Pioneer’s audio heritage, we wanted to create a networked audio player that can handle a wide range of music formats, including high-resolution audio that enthusiasts and music lovers are now asking for,” shares Chris Walker, director of AV marketing and product planning for the home entertainment division of Pioneer Electronics USA. “These new networked players enhance any digital music so even audiophiles, who love listening to every detail of their music, will find these networked audio players a must-add to their existing high end system. Both models are the ideal complement to any existing home audio/video system that’s missing networked audio capabilities.”

Besides supporting audio formats such as MP3, WMA and AAC, the gadget extends support to 192kHz/24-Bit FLAC files as well. The N-50 model drapes an armored body in order to resist sound and is also endowed with gold RCA jacks. Other additional specs on this system read out to be Advanced Sound Retriever and Sound Retriever AIR which enhance the audio quality of the music being blared out by the device.

The Pioneer Elite N-30 and N-50 networked audio players can be obtained for a price of $499 and $699, respectively.
