Pinnacle Cart, the php shopping cart and website builder application for marketers on the web, has released Pinnacle 3.6 Shopping cart software, the latest in its eCommerce software solution.
Pinnacle 360, claimed as ‘flexible, feature-rich, extremely powerful and easy-to-use’ is aimed at enhancing administrative functionality, enabling gift certificate purchasing, integrating product zoom and magnify capabilities, providing encrypted credit card storage, among others.
“Pinnacle Cart 360 had been designed from a marketing perspective and is specifically targeted for merchants focused on cost effectively deploying and managing a successful web-based business,” says Craig Fox, vice president of marketing and product development. “This latest release will improve merchants’ ability to increase not only the number of sales but also the average order amount per sale.”
Pinnacle Cart has been a highly successful solution provider to traders running web-based businesses. By winning the GOLD certification from Parallels (formally known as SWSoft) it has added a feather in its cap. Pinnacle Cart’s Application Packaging Standard (APS) packaging format has been the reason behind its achievement. APS is used to apply Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model. The APS has also enabled the Parallels products using hosting companies to distribute the Pinnacle Cart directly to consumers without any up-front investment.
“With this latest version, Pinnacle Cart is poised to capture a larger share of the online shopping cart market,” says Mike Auger, president of Pinnacle Cart. “Pinnacle Cart 360 dramatically improves functionality for existing customers while also providing substantial advantages over competitive products for those looking to establish an ecommerce presence.”
