The Panasonic Toughbook CF-SX2 enterprise-level notebook’s price in India has been announced and it is said to tag along features like 3G network support and up to 14 hours of battery life. This notebook with a lightweight form factor, is now up for grabs in the country.
The sturdy Toughbook comes encased in a shock-resistant chassis constructed using magnesium alloy that helps reducing its weight by as much as 33 percent. It can survive drops from a height of approximately 76cm and claims to be capable of resisting 100kg of pressure. The customizable notebook is fitted with a circular and ergonomic scrolling touchpad for improved efficiency.
Meant for professionals who are constantly on the move, the device is fueled by the third generation Intel Core i5-3320M processor. Users need not worry about storing digital content on the portable computer as it comes with 250GB storage. Its 12.1-inch HD+ screen can render visuals in 1600 x 900p resolution. There is Wi-Fi for wireless web access, Bluetooth 4.0, built-in WWAN and a DVD optical drive as well.
Measuring 295 x 197.5 x 25.4 millimeters, it weighs less than 1.42 kilograms. The Windows-based laptop comes with either a 4-cell battery or an 8-cell one for close to 9 hours or 14 hours of power life, respectively. Its connectivity options are inclusive of two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI connector and an SDXC card slot. A 720p webcam and a microphone have also been thrown into the mix.
The price of the Panasonic Toughbook CF-SX2 commences from Rs. 1,25,000 onwards.
