The trend of selfie phones in India has been latched onto by Panasonic, even as it has just announced the launch of its Eluga S smartphone in the country. Priced at Rs 11190, this handset ships with a 5MP front camera which serves the purpose of proffering high resolution self-portraits.
It’s a dual SIM device that’s supposed to go on sale through traditional retail channels in the third week of this month in black and white color options. However, the Panasonic Eluga S already appears to have been made available via Snapdeal at a discounted Rs 10990.
The phone houses on its front a 5-inch HD display, while its insides are highlighted by an octa core processor. The selfie camera of this Panasonic handset is accompanied by a Blink Play feature which lets you capture your shots by just blinking your eyes.
