Panasonic has added a new entry to its series of affordable smartphones in the form of the Eluga Turbo. The handset will be sold exclusively via Snapdeal, with registrations for its January 27 sale now live.
Panasonic has priced the 4G-ready Eluga Turbo at Rs 10999, directly pitting it against the recently launched LeEco Le 1s. Taking a closer look at its specs, the phone sports a 5-inch 720p screen which is encased within Gorilla Glass 3. Its rear surface has been fitted with a layer of Asahi Dragontrail Glass.
The dual-SIM Eluga Turbo runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and derives its power from a 2350mAh battery. Its daily tasks are conducted with the help of a 1.5GHz octa-core processor which works in tandem with 3GB of RAM. There’s 32GB of ROM for storage purposes, expandable up till 32GB via a microSD card slot.

Moving on to its photography department, the Panasonic device houses a 13MP main camera with LED flash. It’s capable of recording videos in a resolution of 1080p at 30fps. Selfies and video calls are taken care of with a 5MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options consist of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS.
