We previously reported about the leaked details of the new Palm phone, finally Palm announced to release the new Treo Pro. The latest handset is an affordable smartphone, which allows users to carry their business anywhere and anytime. The phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The phone features email, Wi-Fi and GPS facilities.
It sports a QWERTY keyboard and a Wi-Fi button enabling easy and fast Wi-Fi connection experience. It also includes a dedicated email and calendar buttons to allow faster access to its applications.
The Palm Treo Pro features a built-in Internet Explorer Mobile browser. Further, it allows users to open, view, and edit Word and Excel compatible files. In addition users can also review PowerPoint presentations and PDF files; and open ZIP files remotely, hence almost all business related formats are made compatible with the Palm Treo Pro.
