Being the company’s smallest laptop yet, the Origin PC EON11-S recently received an entire scoop of the latest hardware components. Fitted within its lightweight form factor are Intel Core processors and the Nvidia GeForce GT 650M graphics, based on the Ivy Bridge and Kepler architectures, respectively.
The refreshed laptop packs in various connectivity features including Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 and HDMI. Although the third generation of Intel Core processors come with improved on-board graphics and DirectX 11 support, it embeds the GeForce GT 650M card which proffers 2GB of DDR5 memory and enhanced frame rendering for playing almost all the latest games smoothly.
“Origin PC continues to lead the industry by unveiling our powerful, compact, lightweight EON 11-S and adding Intel’s highly anticipated 3rd generation processors to our award winning lineup of desktops and laptops. Everyone dreams of a laptop that is smaller, lighter, has a longer battery life and has the ability to play all of the latest PC games well. The EON11-S makes that dream a reality and without making any ultra-sacrifices,” commented Kevin Wasielewski Origin PC CEO and co-founder.
Weighing less than 4lbs, users can expect to find various entertainment attributes as well, including the THX TruStudio Pro for better quality sound output. Complementing all the aforementioned features is the Optimus Technology that should be capable of delivering around 6.5 hours of battery life on a single charge.
