The Oppo F3 has made its way to India, positioned as the more affordable alternative to its bigger Plus sibling. The handset is a Flipkart-exclusive offering online and will hit shelves on May 13. It’s now up for pre-orders via offline outlets and the e-commerce site until May 12.
To recall, the Rs 30990 F3 Plus was the first out of the gate back in March this year. The new F3 is very similar to the former in terms of looks and dual selfie skills, but is much cheaper thanks to its Rs 19990 price tag. This has been brought about by granting it a smaller 5.5-inch FHD screen, 13MP rear camera, lower capacity 3200mAh battery, and MediaTek MT6750T processor.
The more compact screen and lower cost should make the F3 an appealing choice for anyone who thought the Plus variant was too big and expensive for their selfie needs. Delving into the phone’s twin snapper system, it’s made up of 16MP and 8MP shooters.

The 16MP one captures high-resolution snaps when taking solo selfies, while the 8MP one boasts of a 120-degree wide-angle lens to handle group selfies. There’s even a smart facial recognition tool to automatically switch to the second when more people come into the frame and a bokeh effect to blur out the background.
