The upcoming OnePlus X smartphone which will act has a mini version of the company’s 2 handset has apparently been granted a higher price tag than expected. It was being speculated that the device will be sold in China at RMB 1399, but a promo image that has leaked now tells us that it will be available at RMB 1699.
That will bring the converted rate up to $267 or Rs 17350. The leaked image of the OnePlus X which you’re seeing in the space down below gives us a glimpse at its freshly designed front surface. In keeping with the industry trend, the company has gone for minimal bezels, while also incorporating a metal frame.
Leaked via a Weibo account (via G 4 Games), it shows the date on the screen to be October 29, again confirming that the handset will be unveiled by OnePlus on the said date. We can’t help but notice that the wallpaper used on the phone is pretty similar to the background images that the new iPhones come pre-loaded with.
This device is expected to ship with a fingerprint scanner onboard as well, apart from a 5-inch 1080p full HD display. There’s still no clarity on the processor which will be powering it, although the quad core Snapdragon 801 CPU is what most people believe is inside it.
