The last update to the OnePlus X kind of did something to its Camera app, which led to it corrupting the images clicked by some users. The Chinese company has now started rolling out another update that’s aimed at introducing a fix for the problem.
Oxygen OS 2.2.0 was the release that was responsible for bringing about this fault it the Camera app. OnePlus hasn’t wasted much time in rectifying it, as the fresh update is ready to be rolled out just a month after the previous one.
It is sized at around 10MB. Being an incremental rollout, it may take some time to arrive on your OnePlus X handset. While this update doesn’t bring about any prominent changes, Oxygen OS 2.2.0 version did introduce some really interesting features.
Here’s a neat look at the main specs of the OnePlus X:
– Display: 5-inch AMOLED, 1080p full HD resolution
– OS: Android-based Oxygen OS
– CPU: 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801
– GPU: Adreno 330
– Memory: 3GB RAM, 16GB storage (expandable till 128GB)
– Cameras: 13MP rear, 8MP front
– Battery: 2525mAh
– Weight: 138gms
– Dimensions: 140 x 69 x 6.9mm
The most important among them was a manual mode which granted users complete control over their photographs. Another important trait was the ability for OnePlus X owners to move their apps to the SD card. Moreover, a USSD bug fix was also introduced for those residing in India.
This mid-range device was unveiled by its makers late last year. It has been fitted with a 5-inch 1080p full HD AMOLED display, and runs on a quad core Snapdragon 801 processor that’s paired with 3GB of RAM. There’s a 13MP rear camera onboard as well, aside from an 8MP front snapper.
