OnePlus X Champagne edition out now for Rs 16999

OnePlus X Champagne Edition

Beginning life as a China-exclusive model, the OnePlus X Champagne edition has finally made its way to India. The handset will be sold in the country under the invite system and is now live for orders via Amazon.

The OnePlus X Champagne edition will set buyers back by Rs 16999, with the company maintaining the same price tag it sells the Onyx variant with. There aren’t any differences between the phones other than the new white-and-gold color scheme of the former.

Interested buyers of the OnePlus X could also consider taking up the company’s exchange offer which ends on December 31. The initiative allows people to hand in their old phone and further gives away the brand’s B2X Service or B2X On-Guard Plus insurance scheme free of charge.

Take a look at the top specs of the OnePlus X Champagne edition at a glance:

– Display: 5-inch, 1080 x 1980p
– OS: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based OxygenOS
– Storage: 16GB
– RAM: 3GB
– CPU: 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801
– GPU: Adreno 330
– Camera: 13MP rear, 8MP front

To recollect, OnePlus had also launched a limited-edition Ceramic version of the OnePlus X at its unveiling. This unit was more expensive at Rs 22999, with the only prominent distinction being its ceramic back panel instead of the glass one favored by the regular variant.

OnePlus had promised to make the Ceramic option available starting from November 24 in India, but is yet to do so. The manufacturer is only planning to produce 10000 units of the device. The brand began offering it with a separate invite earlier this month in select regions across the globe.

Once again, the OnePlus X Champagne edition is out now and can be bought priced at Rs 16999 via Amazon India.
