The said date will see the company giving us a first glimpse of this self-proclaimed gimmick and bloat-free device which has had most of its hardware specifications listed out already.
Its makers have been teasing us with fresh updates for quite some time now, and they’re now finally ready to showcase the new device which they proclaim to be ‘a perfect phone at a killer price.’ The April 23 date has been revealed by the company through its official forum. So what exactly does this product have in it that makes it special.
For starters, it will run the latest CyanogenMod which is an Android-based open source project that focuses on increasing the efficiency of your devices. That being the software side of things, its hardware is highlighted by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset.
A 5.5-inch full HD JDI display makes its way onto the OnePlus One, apart from a 3100mAh battery as well. Another interesting component is its 13MP camera which is accompanied by a Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor that provides it with better low-light performance than other similar shooters. 4K video is also made possible by this camera.
