OnePlus has tied up with transportation service Blowhorn to deliver the OnePlus One to customers in Bengaluru (India) within 60 minutes. There are plans to take it to other cities if it’s successful. In case the buyer doesn’t receive the smartphone within an hour, they get it for free.
The offer is valid between 11 am and 5 pm on October 8, 9 and 10, or till stocks last. To order the OnePlus One, individuals have to download the Blowhorn app, tap on the menu located in the top right corner, choose the product, sign in, and finally pay Rs 21998 for it. Payment options include card, net banking and MobiKwik wallet.
Note that the 1 hour guarantee only begins once the order is accepted by Blowhorn, and not from when it’s placed. The OnePlus handset doesn’t even have to be in your hands at the end of the limit, as the time taken to deliver ends when the brand is within 20 meters of the customer or at the first barrier point, such as the reception area or security guard.
In addition to these terms, the 60 minutes or free promise is not applicable when the operating conditions are not favorable to the vehicle delivering the OnePlus One. Customers will be informed of this when the order is being taken or during the transportation if anything occurs later.
The unfavorable circumstances could be natural or man-made difficulties which obstructs the path of the vehicle. Blowhorn further states it can cancel, amend or alter the guarantee at any time without informing the buyer beforehand.
