Remember that time One Plus thought you’d be willing to trade in your brand new Samsung flagship for one of its smartphones? The company’s taken a humbler approach now and has partnered with ReGlobe to enable fans to exchange their old device from a wider range of popular brands for a OnePlus X, a OnePlus 2 or a OnePlus One.
Until December 31, you can swap your old Apple (iPhone and iPad), Samsung, LG, Sony, HTC, Motorola, Xiaomi, BlackBerry, Huawei, Oppo or even OnePlus mobile device for the three latest phones from the last mentioned brand. Two kinds of exchange schemes are available under the deal.
Users can choose to buy a OnePlus X, 2 or One first and then sell their older handset. In this case, ReGlobe will share an invite code for the OnePlus and schedule a pick-up for a later date. Customers also have the option to have their device collected before they purchase a new one.
In both instances, ReGlobe will send buyers an Amazon Gift Coupon matching the buyback quote of the product being given in for a OnePlus, once the transaction is completed. Those who prefer to receive the amount in cash for the trade-in will have to forgo the B2X Service or B2X On-Guard Plus insurance which comes with it.
The 16GB OnePlus X is pegged at Rs 16999, while a tag of Rs 24999 is tacked to the the 64GB OnePlus 2. When buying either of these, if your old handset has an exchange value of Rs 5000 or higher, you get free insurance for your purchase. The 64GB OnePlus One is selling for Rs 19999. You don’t need an invite to lay your paws on it.
