OnePlus recently began teasing the OnePlus 5 via its official channels, uploading a vague-looking poster that provided little in the way of information. A fresh leak has now arrived in the form of a Weibo post that offers a few interesting tidbits about the smartphone.

As per Kumamoto Technology, the OnePlus 5 will feature dual rear cameras, the first offering by the company to do so. However, the leakster goes against the current belief that the lenses will be placed in a vertical formation, stating that the handset will sport horizontal shooters.

The tipster also claims that the OnePlus 5 will contain a 3600mAh battery, a tad bigger than its previous variant’s 3400mAh unit. Even charging speeds might be getting a boost, a 25% one to be precise. The handset is also expected to be equipped with a front-facing fingerprint reader and not on the back as has been hinted at previously.

Speculation so far has suggested that OnePlus could be looking to stuff a whopping 8GB of RAM into its next flagship device. However, the Weibo post insists that this isn’t the case, alleging that the brand plans to stick to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM like before, but may out a 8GB/256GB variant in the future.

Another major question revolves around the 3.5mm headphone jack. The port’s presence on the OnePlus 5 is not 100% guaranteed at the moment, but we’ll have to wait for more concrete evidence on that front. Finally, a leakster named Mocha RQ recently revealed that the smartphone would feature a 1080p display and get announced by the end of May.
