Amazon India and OnePlus aren’t quite done with the open sale of the 2 handset yet, even as they have decided to hold another one tomorrow. This one will be held 8am onwards tomorrow on the said e-commerce website.
OnePlus hasn’t mentioned the number of devices that it will be putting up on sale, neither has it told us how long the availability will last. Today, the 2 smartphone was available via Amazon without any registrations or invites from 12pm to 1pm.
This is a great opportunity for fans of the handset to grab one for themselves, for it’s still incredibly difficult to receive invites from the company. In fact, the complications and flaws of this invite system are exactly the reason why this open sale is being held by OnePlus.
The 2 handset was launched back in July this year as a ‘2016 flagship killer.’ Although our review puts it nowhere near that tag, it’s a pretty neat smartphone for the price it’s being sold at. It houses a fingerprint scanner on its front and a USB Type-C port at its bottom. It comes equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display and runs on the Snapdragon 810 chipset.
Here’s a brief look at the specs of the OnePlus 2:
– Display: 5.5-inch LCD In-cell, 1080p full HD
– OS: Oxygen OS (Android 5.1 Lollipop-based)
– CPU: 1.8GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (64-bit)
– Memory: 3GB/4GB RAM, 16GB/64GB storage
– Cameras: 13MP OIS rear, 5MP front
– Battery: 3300mAh
– Size: 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.85mm
– Weight: 175gms
– Connectivity: Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C
Like we said, the second open sale of the OnePlus 2 will take place in India via Amazon tomorrow from 8am onwards. Do note that you won’t be needing any invites in order to buy the device during this period.
