Getting a OnePlus 2 invite is still difficult, but a new partnership the Chinese company has struck with Airtel could make it easier for you. Under it, select Airtel stores from the telecom operator will be offering invites to those who upgrade the carrier’s 4G SIM card.
The deal between the two companies says that fifty Airtel stores in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai will start keeping OnePlus 2 trial units on display from Friday onwards. And while upgrading to a 4G SIM will let customers win an invite to buy the handset, non Airtel users will also be able to get them if they switch to a postpaid 4G plan.
It should be noted that the invites that Airtel possesses are limited in number, and will be doled out on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you wish to earn an invite for the OnePlus device via this new Airtel scheme, you should head over to this link and find the nearest store you can enter on Friday.
The 2 handset from the Chinese company is available exclusively through Amazon to all those who possess invites. It’s highlighted by a fingerprint scanner and a reversible USB Type-C port. This device carries onboard a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display, and runs on a Snapdragon 810 chipset. It features a 13MP OIS rear camera as well.
