The rugged Olympus Stylus TG-625 camera can act as a travel companion to adventurous users, considering that it is built to withstand water, shocks and freezing temperatures. Additionally, this imaging device claims to capture clear images and videos, thanks to the iHS technology.
Belonging to the Tough series by the company, this snapper is waterproof to a depth of about 5 meters and shockproof up to 1.5 meters. The compact and lightweight device apparently works in temperatures as low as -10°C. Its TruePic VI SLR image processing engine teams up with the back-illuminated 12MP CMOS sensor and iHS technology to render good quality images. This shooter’s AF Focus Illuminator facilitates clicking images in poorly lit conditions, while Magic Filter, iAuto and Beauty Make-up allow assigning effects to enhance pictures.
This Olympus camera can offer up to 10x super resolution zoom and it boasts of Dual IS that takes advantage of digital SLR algorithms in order to do away with motion blur due to camera shake.
