Official Spotify for iPad app finally hits Apple App Store

Spotify For iPad App

Apple tablet users may be delighted to know that a certain music streaming service has finally paid heed to their requests and introduced the official Spotify for iPad app. According to the developers, the application is complete with richer colors, a dazzling display as well as razor sharp images.

The software should complement the high resolution display of the Apple iPad quite nicely, considering that the application has especially been optimized for the device. It is said to have been bestowed with features that make browsing through the catalog of roughly 18 million tracks even simpler. And besides high definition cover art, the iPad version sports a full screen ‘Now Playing’ view too.

“Enjoying all the world’s music instantly on your iPad has never been easier. And with the brand new full-screen view and AirPlay integration, Spotify and your iPad are perfect for each other, both as your pumped-up living room stereo and your lean, green music machine when you’re on the move,” stated Andres Sehr in a recent post on the official Spotify blog.

Discovering new tracks seems to have become more convenient as users are given an option to launch a search for a playlist, music and more via the same view. Not only can subscribers find the popular numbers without breaking a sweat, but also tracks that are trending amongst their friends. Some other attributes that should add to the usability of this app are gapless playback, AirPlay integration, inbox grouping by users and a lot more.

The Spotify for iPad app is available to Premium subscribers for free through the Apple App Store. Non-subscribers can sign up for a free 30-day trial of this application.
