Nokia just can’t seem to keep its unannounced phones from slipping out and this time around, we’ve got two of them – the Normandy and an Asha edition device. See the black colored handset caught trying to look up Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra on Bing? It’s supposed to be an upcoming Asha.
Its design varies dramatically from the new Asha series phones Nokia launched last month. Putting on Captain Obvious’ hat, the unnamed gadget will have a touch display that’s inexplicably wide and sport a physical home button. Now why does the design look so old school to us? Difficult to put a finger on it.

The next photo, also arriving courtesy of @evleaks, is that of a red phone which could have been a Lumia if it wasn’t for the capacitive back button below the touchscreen. It appears familiar because the Asha 500, 501, 502 and 503 had similar exteriors. Only this time, the transparent plastic casing is gone.
Instead, you have a regular Lumia-esque shell in a bright shade of red. The picture is accompanied by the words ‘A real Asha. Or Lumia? The Nokia Normandy.’ So is it supposed to fit between the Lumia and Asha categories? Talk about bridging the gap and kill our enthusiasm.
It’s unfortunate that there’s nothing on the specifications of either device as of now. But we’re keeping our eyes peeled and will update this post as soon as anything pops up. Goldfinger, Moneypenny, Spinel and Phantom are yet to appear. Keep your fingers crossed!
