Nokia has unveiled the N810 Internet Tablet – WiMAX Edition in the US. The Nokia N810 delivers internet experience with advanced internet connectivity. WiMAX is a better connectivity option as it covers wider coverage area – approximately a radius of 2-3 miles from the base station.
The new WiMAX edition of the N810 features a 4.13 inch touch screen with a slider QWERTY keyboard. For VoIP calling, the phone is equipped with applications such as Skype, Google Talk and Gizmo5.
Moreover, the N810 also features built-in GPS and support for up to 10GB of memory, apart from a microSD memory card slot.
A Nokia Web browser (complete with Ajax and Flash support), Bluetooth 2.0, and a VGA Web cam are other salient features of the WiMAX Edition of N810.
Moreover the new Nokia mobile phone is equipped with an upgraded OS2008 and also includes an enhanced email client, Chinese character rendering in the browser and software update capability.
No word regarding its price is revealed yet. However the phone is expected to hit the US stores by summer 2008 with Sprint Network.
