The Nokia Lumia 925 recently went up for pre-order in India through an e-retailer. And now, the company’s own online store has listed a price for the device and also has it in stock. It’s being offered on EMIs of 3 or 6 months and is expected to ship within 5 days of order.
The Nokia Lumia 925 is basically the 920 with various enhancements. The overall form factor has been improved to a great extent where instead of polycarbonate, the company has decided to go with an aluminum body. This has resulted in a slimmer form factor of 8.5mm and a more lightweight design of 139 grams. The low-light capabilities of the 8.7MP PureView camera have been augmented as well, and the display panel is switched to AMOLED from LCD. The onboard storage is now 16GB and apart from this everything else is the same – A 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch HD display and a 2000mAh battery.
In recent news, Nokia has started rolling out its Amber update which tags along WP8 GDR2 and various news enhancements. The main highlight amid these is the Pro Camera application which made its debut on the 1020 PureView. It allows users to take full control of the snapper through various manual settings like shutter speed, exposure and focus amongst others.
While the Nokia Lumia 925 is being listed for Rs 34,169 in shades of white, grey and black, online retailers such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, Infibeam and Saholic are offering it for below Rs 34,000. The Lumia 625 can be pre-ordered through Snapdeal for an advance payment of Rs 1,000. Also, the company’s official India Twitter account has started teasing the arrival of the Lumia 1020, so stay tuned for more details.
