The Nokia Lumia Rogers smartphone will arrive in Canada exclusively through the carrier this November, so suggests its official release date. For those who aren’t aware, this handset packs in PureView imaging which first made its debut through the 808 smartphone.
The latest advances in the camera technology have brought forth various improvements, most of which are focused towards low light performance. To enable this, the company has incorporated an f/2.0 aperture that’s said to take in approximately 5 times more light compared to most snappers found on competitive devices. This allows users to snap up quality stills in dim conditions, sans the need of flash.
The Finland manufacturer has also thrown in its latest touchscreen dubbed PureMotion HD+. This panel employs an IPS type LCD and it is complemented by the ClearBlack display that aims to reduce reflections. To top it off, the screen is powered by Super Sensitive Touch from Synaptics which allows users to navigate through menus and other features even with gloves on.
The Nokia Lumia 920 Rogers will be available in Canada through the specified carrier only, just like the US variant which is limited to AT&T customers or those willing to signup with the provider. Where release date details matter, the handset will go up for grabs sometime next month, while the price information will be unveiled as the launch date closes in.
