The Nokia Lumia 920 AT&T release date is apparently chalked for November 2. But that’s only the unofficial word on the device’s upcoming launch and we’re obviously waiting for either the Finnish company or the US carrier, to blurt out a confirmation.
Nokia had been teasing its two new Windows Phone 8 smartphones for quite some time before finally slipping the veil off the devices just this week. As far as the launch date is concerned, all we’ve been told is that both will be available for purchase before the year is up. With the release still a long way off, the company was hardly likely to part with details on pricing.
Now word from multiple sources has revealed that the 920 will be out for AT&T customers on November 2, putting just 4 days between its availability and Microsoft’s expected October 29 launch of Windows Phone 8. The Verge says that the network operator is presently testing the handset and its purported market debut may just be pushed further if things don’t pan out as expected.
With Microsoft in the process of smoothing out its new mobile OS edition and a Release to Manufacturing version scheduled to drop in soon, it’s hardly surprising that Nokia is still sitting on a definite launch date announcement. At any rate, if a 4.5-inch touchscreen, Snapdragon S4 CPU and 8.7MP PureView-powered camera are good enough reasons to wait for it, fans will undoubtedly be marking off the days until November.
Well, now that we know the Nokia Lumia 920 AT&T release date falls on November 2, the price details will hopefully follow soon enough.
