Although the exact Nokia Lumia 820 AT&T release date is not known, the service provider has revealed that it will be up for grabs by next month. Similar to the Lumia 920, it features 4G LTE network support and takes advantage of the Windows Phone 8 platform.
Enclosed in a compact form factor that measures not more than 9.9mm in thickness, the smartphone is deployed with a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor that ticks at 1.5GHz. The Microsoft-certified device shows off a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED capacitive multi-touch display that can render clear visuals in 800 x 480p resolution. It weighs approximately 160 grams.
The 4G LTE smartphone draws power from a 1650mAh removable battery that can cough up the juice for talk time of close to 14 hours in the 2G mode and of about 8 hours in 3G. Additionally, the phone ships with 1000MB onboard memory and an expansion slot to increase the storage by up to 32GB with a little assistance from a microSD card.
And if that’s not enough, the 820 comes equipped with an 8MP camera, possessing attributes like dual LED flash, a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, auto focus with two-stage capture key, touch focus, geo tagging, video recording capability and more. A front-facing camera has also been thrown into the mix.
The Nokia Lumia 820 AT&T will arrive in the US in November, but its exact price and release date details are yet to be disclosed.
