Nokia Lumia 730 could go on sale for just Rs 14599 in a couple of weeks

The Nokia Lumia 730 is the new talk of the town and it’s said to be Microsoft first selfie-focused smartphone which features a high-resolution front camera. We’ve got quite a bit of information on the handset already and more details are still pouring in with a new report revealing the alleged spec and price for the device along with a new image.

NPU is reporting based on information gathered from its sources that the Nokia Lumia 730 will carry a price of around €256. In India, this amount should be approximately Rs 20958, but the website states that Microsoft will offer the handset at a cheaper price of just Rs 14599. This would be a very apt move by the Redmond giant considering that most mid-range phones in the country retail for around the latter amount.

Also, the report states that the handset could get unveiled in the third or fourth week of August which adds more credence to a previous rumor. The Lumia 730 was said to carry a 5-inch 720p display making it a huge upgrade from its predecessor. However, the latest information suggests that the screen size will be at 4.7 inches instead and also sport HD visuals.

The device will also adopt the new on-screen button approach and for some reason, there’s no dedicated camera button onboard. The dual snappers have been even revealed as 5MP for the front and 6.7MP for the rear.
