The price for Nokia Lumia 510 in India has been disclosed as Rs. 10,290. The smartphone is the Finnish manufacturer’s latest Windows Phone 7 offering that falls in the budget-friendly category like the 610.
Complementing the colorful Live Tiles featured in the WP7.5 platform’s user interface are the 5 bright hue options the handset arrives in. The overall form factor is layered with matte and soft-touch finishes. In terms of dimensions, it measures around 0.7mm x 64.9mm x 11.5mm and tips the scales at approximately 129 grams. A 4-inch capacitive multi-touch LCD screen is fitted onto the front and it proffers a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The Lumia 510 gets its steam from an 800MHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor backed by 256MB of RAM.
The rear sports a main 5MP auto focus camera with VGA video recording, while the built-in memory amounts to 4GB. The company is also offering 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage. On the connectivity front, users will have 3G, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR at their disposal. The OS is pre-loaded with access to various social networks including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. A 1300mAh battery is employed here to power up all components. It is capable of delivering up to 6.2 hours of talktime, 738.6 hours of standby or 36 hours of music playback.
The Nokia Lumia 510 can be picked up through Snapdeal in black and white color options only. The device’s retail cost in India amounts to Rs. 10,290, as mentioned earlier, while the Lumia 610 is up for grabs at Rs. 12,380.
